I think what’s in my bag videos are as old as YouTube itself. Probably exaggerating, but it is a video a lot of people do. I think it’s so cool that we are all secret nosy enough to watch other people empty their purses and tell us about their personal belongings. I don’t have a fancy bag, or items, but I really wanted to make a ‘What’s in my Bag’ video. I found a LOT of lip products, cleaned out all of the receipts, and had a good time chatting about stuff I like! Let me know some of the products in your bag and why you like to carry them around, and watch my video pretty please!
Valentine’s day is coming up. Instead of something love focused, these are pink items I can’t live without.Read More...
For the longest time, the one pair of shoes I vowed to never get are mules. They are a 90’s trend I could never get on board with. Bloggers, Vloggers, instagram influencers, etc. have made mules the shoes of the summer and to me, it never made sense. My arguments on this case were, “What’s the point of half a shoe,” and “it’s glorifying flip flops.” On this day, (actually a few days ago) I caved and got a pair of mules; loafer mules to be exact.
Why? Well, I found this pair that was under $25, they come in black, and they look a WHOLE lot like this high end pair. There are also three influencers that have made me convert to the mule trend: Blank Itinerary, Miss Louie, and the College Prepster. They make these silhouettes look modern and chic, so I had to give it a try.
Here is a quick pros and cons list if you’re still on the fence about this style:
- They give you an “effortless” put together vibe that I didn’t was possible to achieve with half a loafer
- no straps or buckles to mess with, just slip on and you’re out the door!
- variety of price ranges, yes broke college student, you too can give off fashion blogger vibes at a fraction of the price
- I can’t wear them if a lot of walking is involved. Maybe I need a different size, but they are kind of difficult to walk in
- Like most open shoes, they aren’t ideal for rainy days
Last Wednesday, one of my dearest friends was graduating from school. Our friend group all took inspiration and dress up a little for this amazing milestone. My outfit was typical for my style, and super AFFORDABLE! I wore a black body suit from forever 21 (similar), a floral skirt from Ross, and my Aldo Yalissa loafers (yes the shoes are expensive, pretend they aren’t here). I opted for flats over heels, because the graduation took place where there were a lot of stairs to climb. The 3/4 length sleeve of my top turned out to be helpful because it was a rainy and cool evening in Florida.
Spring seems to have skipped straight over Florida but I’m still dressing like it! Using a denim jacket in Spring is ideal because it’s lighter than most sweaters and versatile to use with different looks. I wore this outfit to work and it was a hit at the office! I also switched up my florals and wore the pattern with a dark base. The small bouquets break up the dark and it made for a beautiful contrast. I kept the shoes basic because it’s what I prefer for work, but this can definitely look amazing with red shoes or a pair of lace up sandals with the colorful pom poms.

So I did some shopping over the past month and a half… The good news is that I’ll have a ton of inspiration for new posts and videos for the next few weeks. The bad news is that now I have to find a new reason to justify my purchases lol. I filmed a video hauling my nw stash I will leave links to everything I showed in the description box of the video as well as here, happy watching!
Florida is warming up! That means that the thermostats are about to be dropped and I have to still dress like it’s fall for the indoors. I wanted to stay on the cozy side for work to shake the Monday blues a little.
Disney World means it’s going to be a good day! A few friends, my sister, and I had passes so we made a date out of it. Staying true to my favorite color palette, I wore all black.
My top is HM, my bomber jacket is from Forever 21 (Similar here and here) , leggings are from Walmart, my sneakers are vans, and my lip is the Smashbox always on liquid lip in ‘bawse‘. The necklace is from Sparkle Designs. I am planning a post about these necklaces so stay tuned!!!
I was going for the whole athlesiure look. I don’t know how well I did, but I liked it and was comfortable all day. It was hot but thankfully it’s also February. That means once the sun goes down so does the temperature which made completing this outfit possible!

Call me crazy, but I wasn’t going to leave New York without trying to wear a skirt in the dead of winter. I wanted to see if I could go the whole day wearing one. When the night fell and the wind picked up, I was too uncomfortable and went back to the hotel to change. During the day it was fine, and I looked cute! I paired the skirt with tights because I am not THAT crazy, a shirt, and sweater to balance everything out.
This was my favorite outfit of the week. I wish that the sweater and the shirt had similar neck styles, so I didn’t look like a weirdo, but I was warm which is all that matters.
Skirt: Charlottle Russe
